Introduction Montana is ranked 44th among the 50 states of U.S. Montana is located in Western United States. Montana was admitted to the U.S union in 1881 as 41st state. The state government consists of governor, two members of Senate and one congressional representative. Montana is the first state to elect a woman and is also the first state to give voting rights to women.
